Joshua Talbert, MA, LMHC

I believe that the solutions to the challenges you’re facing already exist within you—my role is to help you uncover them. I approach therapy with a foundation of trust, respect, and acceptance, allowing our work to be client-led and shaped by your unique needs. I bring curiosity and presence to each session, paying attention not only to your words, but also to deeper patterns and relational dynamics that may be less immediately visible.

To me, mental health is about integration—a sense of inner alignment where the various aspects of ourselves can coexist in harmony. I hold that even our most painful experiences carry valuable insight and potential for growth. As such, I often invite clients to engage with difficult emotions or past experiences in a new way, supporting deeper understanding and transformation.

My work is grounded in somatic, experiential, and nature-based practices. This means we don’t just talk about change—we actively engage with it in real time. Whether we’re working indoors or in natural spaces, I view a person’s relationship with their environment as vital to healing and well-being. The world around us often reflects and supports the work within.

I don’t believe therapy needs to last forever. My hope is that, with time, you’ll feel confident navigating both current and future challenges using the skills and insights we develop together.
