Monique Chhabra, LMFTA

Greetings! My name is Monique Chhabra. I prioritize providing a safe and healing space for you to process through the depths of life’s challenges and stressors. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to explore and unpack the challenges that are keeping you from experiencing a deeper sense of well-being, emotional health, and fulfillment. Some of my specialty areas include supporting individuals through difficulties/challenges related to life transitions, marital/relationship issues and/or infidelity, self-esteem/self-worth, family dynamics, grief/loss, emotional literacy, and regulation, communication skills, people pleasing and the parenthood vs. childfree vs. childless transition.

In my work, I believe that each person is an expert on their own life, and, at times, it is helpful to have a trusted individual step into the landscape of your life with you. I care about your story and in therapy, we dive deep into your world so you can re-connect with yourself, untangle knots that have impeded your emotional health, and move through life in a way that is aligned with your integrity, values, and self-worth. I am here to walk through the map of your life with you – in your brokenness, in your healing, in your strength, and in your wholeness.

About me

I am a child of immigrants and am of Indian descent. Born and raised in the U.S., I have always found myself straddling two worlds, that of my ethnic background and culture and that of my American background and culture – both near and dear to my heart. I hold both American values and Indian values and this certainly creates an interesting dynamic for how I maneuver through the world!
