Priscilla Bey, LSWAIC

Hello! My name is Priscilla Bey. I realize that making the decision to improve your life utilizing therapy is a daunting task. However, feel proud of yourself for doing so, because your initiation is known as MOTIVATION FOR CHANGE! Change is a process that begins with, yes, motivation. Now that you’re motivated, we can begin your journey to wellness.

People often wonder if therapy is right for them. Others hesitate to engage due to stigmatization, sharing personal information with a stranger, or fear of being perceived as weak. Rest assured that none of these generalizations are sufficient reasons to ignore your most precious asset – and that is YOU!

About me

I decided to continue my education after raising my family. As a result, I completed seven years of continuous education and earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from Walden University in May of 2021. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, I spent many hours at the bedside of clients who were extremely ill providing one-on-one care and consolation to them and their families. It soon became evident that many who healed physically were still suffering mentally due to the life-altering condition(s) of their trauma. Therefore, my approach to therapy is holistic by getting to know the whole person as WE explore the core cause(s) of your barrier(s).
